UAE Transit Visas from Bangladesh

Bangladeshi citizens can also travel to a third country using any United Arab Emirates airport as a transit hub and need to avail transit visa before the flight to enter the country.

The United Arab Emirates issue two different transit visas:

  • 48-hours transit visa
  • 96-hours transit visa

While the 48 hours transit visa is free of charge, the 96 hours transit visa has an issuance fee of 50 AED. Please note that, once a 48 hours visa is issued, you can no longer extend/change your visa to 96 hours. So, fix your plan before you apply for a visa.

Only the UAE-based airlines you travel with can arrange the transit visa. Third-party agencies can also handle visa issuance, but it must be processed through the same airlines you are flying with.

To get a UAE Transit visa, you need the following documents:

  • A valid passport with at least 3 months validity (6 months for 96 hours visa)
  • A recent passport photo with white background
  • Onward ticket for the next destination. The ticket must be confirmed and paid.
